Okay...

Living with a preteen is interesting.  She's developing her own sense of "style".  Often, this is really cute and she looks adorable.  I love that she likes to wear cute jackets with her outfits.  But sometimes, I just don't get it.  For instance, lately she has taken to wearing two different socks, on purpose.  Today's socks:



Last week I saw her wearing one green, one purple sock.  Weird.  But whatever.  I asked her why she does it, she says it makes her feel free.  Well, if that's what you've gotta do, then that's okay I guess.  I'd rather her wear two different socks than some other things kids will do in order to "feel free". 

I still think it's a little weird, but I suppose it is also kind of endearing. ;)
