Ryan commented on Iron Chef America's secret ingredient being Chocolate tonight and another food show being about boxed chocolates tonight. My response...
"Yes dear, that would probably be because Valentine's Day is this week. You know, some people like to give gifts to their loved one on Valentine's Day. Such as chocolates, flowers, ... jewelry."
We rarely exchange gifts on Valentine's Day, usually just go out on a nice, romantic date, but it doesn't hurt to try, does it? ;)
***Disclaimer, Ryan does usually send me flowers, but our favorite florist closed her doors last month; I'm not really expecting any this year.
