Is it Wednesday already?!? This week has been very busy for us! Partly because we are still catching up from being out of town. But also because we are just plain BUSY!!!
Did I mention that yesterday Acadia started swimming lessons? She had fun. She is in the "big pool" and has a very sweet teacher. She had so much fun even though she has to put her face in the water and is learning to float. I hope she learns quickly! We leave for Massachusetts in less than a month and we'll be having plenty of water play there!
Today Cadi and I woke up and got ready for school! It was "Kindergarten Round-Up Day" at the school Acadia will be attending next year. We met the principal and teachers. The principal read a story to the new students about kindergarten. Then the kids went into one of the classrooms with the teachers to play and ask questions while the grown-ups stayed with the principal, school counselor, nurse, secretary, PTO president, etc to hear about the school and ask questions. Afterwards we all got on a school bus and went for a ride in the neighborhood to see what riding on the bus is like.
After "school", we went to playgroup. And then dance class. Only one more dance class before her recital on Sat, May 22. And we decided to sign up for the summer classes because we will only be missing one by the way the dates fall and Miss MaryAnn said we can either prorate the price or make the class up on a different day. :thumb:
We came home for lunch and the plan was for Cadi to head over to a friend's to play after she ate, but instead she immediately laid down on the floor and fell asleep! I think she's beat! lol

Eat What You Want Day
Isn't it interesting that there are so many "holidays" like that? Today is Eat What You Want Day, recently there was No Diet Day, Pecan Day, Something On a Stick Day, Chocolate Custard Day, etc. Plus there are all these No Housework, No Homework, Where Your Pajamas to Work, and Blame Someone Else Days!
If we truly observed all these "holidays", we would be in a world of hurt!

Monday, Monday
Today was a Monday!
I woke up and started doing dishes. I was gross in sweats and without a shower at that point. Then the phone rang. It was the Relief Society President asking if it was okay that we move our meeting to 10? Well, sure considering I had forgotten that we were having a meeting at all! (They are usually at 9:30!!!) AAAAUGH!
Okay, I start the dishwasher, jump in the shower, and take off. The meeting is 2 hours. I get home and make lunch. Well, we have decided to start eating our larger meal at lunch time instead of dinner time. So...I made chinese food. Which meant another sink full of dishes! But, they would have to wait. First I needed to run to the credit union and grocery store since I had already put that off for 5 days. Then once I got home I finished dishes (again!) and made refreshments for family night tonight. CRAZY!!!
So, now it is almost 5:00. But, the good news is that I'm not making "dinner". I just have to make sure we have some light food for everyone. And...the refreshments are made and the dishes are under control. So I guess it's not a bad thing that I was so busy during the day. That makes it so I don't have as much work in the evening. I can get used to that. :thumb:

A new day.
Well, today my headache is gone! :thumb:
This is good because it kept me on the couch or in bed most the day yesterday so not much got done. This morning Cadi is helping me fold laundry. I do need to try to get to the credit union and store, but it might wait til Monday. This afternoon our friends are having their baby's blessed. We are happy for them and will be there to support them.
I need to clean the house and get ready for Debi to come home. She has a flight home tonight.
But first...I need a shower!

Blah
Blah. :annoyed: That's how I feel. I have a migraine that will not go away, no matter what I do, for at least the next day or two. I still haven't unpacked from our CA trip and that means that there's a ton of laundry to do. There are dishes in my dishwasher that are clean, but that means I need to put them away and start loading the dirty ones. And I really need to get to the credit union and grocery store today.
One good thing is that our Home, Family, and Personal Enrichment that I'm in charge of every month went well last night. Despite last minute problems!!! But we had a GREAT turnout and we got SO MUCH done! :thumb: Of course, now that last night is over, we have next month's to start stressing about! I guess it's not that bad. This next month's HFPE is almost all set.
Well, off to start the endless list of things I need to do.

Pictures from Sac Trip
We are home and now I can finally post a few photos. There just isn't enough room to post everything, but this will give you a taste of how our trip went:
This is Acadia working in the backyard with Grandma Grundy

This pictures was taken at the Sacramento Zoo. We went with the Grundy's and had a fun time.

Here are the cute cousins!

Cadi and the boys played on the playground at the park.

We had fun at Rancho Seco with the Robarts. Esther was so cute!

We visited with our friends Heather and Steve while we were down. This is a picture of Steve and Cadi trying on hats while shopping at the Nordstrom Rack.

We had a fun time with Rance, Jess, and the kids in Reno on our way back home.

We had a fun trip and can't wait til we see everyone again!
