Beach Trip Day One

We had such a great beach trip last week!  We left after church on Sunday and met up with my aunt, uncle, and cousins at a beach house just north of Seaside, OR.  This beach house had a nice, open layout with a bigger kitchen than the house last year, but the view wasn't as good.  Last year's house was right on the beach and you could sit in the living room and watch the waves.  At this house, the grassy sand dunes were too high for us to see the ocean over them.  :S

The weather was alright, but it was overcast most of the time.  We had a couple of beautiful, sunny days though, and the whole time the temps were pretty mild.  Last year, we were spoiled with gorgeous weather every day we were there!  I think between the difference in weather, and the location of the house, we spent far less time on the beach this year.  We didn't have as many bonfires, either.  But we did still have lots of fun!

Back at the house and getting ready for bed.  The girls were so excited to be having a week-long slumber party with Sami!!!


Our first few hours at the beach were great!  We were really looking forward to the rest of the week!
